Clean modern rooms but with unique design quirks.

My experience at the Ibis Charleroi was disappointing. The noise from outside was ridiculous, making it hard to get any sleep. Additionally, the breakfast offerings were too expensive for what they provided, and the overall area felt unsafe at night.

oh, where to begin? the big spiders in the room were quite a lovely surprise, almost like a welcoming committee gone wrong. and the cleanliness? absolutely not worth the price! a complimentary upgrade would have been a nice touch, but alas, I just couldn’t enjoy my stay with all these inconveniences. I was left utterly underwhelmed.

The Ibis is conveniently located directly across from the train station, making it ideal for a short stay. The room was spacious with a comfortable mattress, offering a hot, robust shower. The nearby shopping center provided various options for food and shopping, adding convenience to the stay.

I loved how close the hotel was to the train and bus stations The picturesque view over the river Sambre from my room added such a lovely touch to my stay. Plus, the breakfast buffet at €14.50 offered a variety of tasty options that really catered to my early morning cravings!

The staff were super friendly and quick to help whenever we needed anything. Plus, the close proximity to the train station made our daily adventures a breeze.
